Late in July 1996, we were fortunate enough to attend our first cavy show held in Rancho Bernardo, California. Though we only spent a hour or so talking with breeders and visiting with all the beautiful cavies, we walked away thrilled to see so many happy buddies. In fact, we were so impressed with all the people we met at the show, that before we left, we joined the Cavy Capitol of California (CCC), who sponsored the show with their motto: "to promote, encourage & educate."
